Indonesian Sambal Stir Fry

Ingredients:
  • 1 packet Indonesian Sambal Stir Fry SpicePaste©
  • 3 - 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, cut into wedges
  • 450g (1 lb) shelled prawns and/or squid
  • 2 tomatoes, quartered

 

     Methods:
  1. Heat oil in non-stick wok or pan on medium-high heat.
  2. Add the onions and seafood; stir fry for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the SpicePaste. and stir fry for 2 minutes.  Add tomatoes; stir fry for 1 minute. Serve hot.

 

     Variations:

         a) Scallops, mussels, fish, chicken, lamb and beef may be used instead
          of prawns and squid.

         b) You may stir fry vegetables of your choice (eggplant / aubergine
              french beans and string beans).

         c) Suitable as marinade for grilling and BBQ seafood.
